I can't believe Express Scripts failed to negotiate a new contract with Walgreens! Let me explain what happened at best. Express Scripts is the middleman for the healthcare system. Walgreens initially was a part of Express Scripts network. Basically, this means that Walgreens was provider for the pharmaceutical needs of patients within the network. Since the negotiations is a no go, Walgreens will not provide pharmaceutical services of patients within the network any longer.
